What is Hilingo’s UK CAS prep for institutes?
It is the UK CAS Interview part of Hilingo’s institute software, for agents, consultancies and coaching institutes whose students face interviews at UK universities. A university may interview a student before it issues the CAS, and UK Visas and Immigration may ask a student to attend an interview after they apply. Each student you add builds a profile from their own offer, CAS and money papers. Hilingo turns it into key points and an example answer for 96 interview questions written by Hilingo, scores every recorded practice answer on 10 parts, and opens a mock interview when readiness reaches 70 (today’s default). Your team sees who needs a call each morning, every answer a student changed and every recorded mock, and your trainers add their own band and advice. It is available to institutes in India on request. The university decides whether to issue a CAS, and the Home Office decides the visa.

A licensed university must do all it can to recruit genuine students (Sponsorship duties, para 2.3) and, in compliance checks applied for from 1 June 2026, keep its visa refusal rate under 5 per cent (Student sponsor compliance, para 2.14). It records the recruiting agent on the CAS (para 3.24), and the caseworker deciding the visa may weigh any Home Office concerns about the agent managing the application (caseworker guidance); our workflow for agents and counsellors explains each rule.

Your trainer’s band next to the AI’s.
Give a counsellor the UK CAS Trainer role and they can watch each recorded mock answer and add Green, Amber or Red with written advice, which is required for Amber and Red. The student sees both bands.

Recordings, passport details and your data.
Your students record themselves and type in passport details, so here is exactly what happens to them. Students, results and enquiries belong to your institute and are kept separate from every other institute.
- Recordings sit in private storage and play only through links that expire after 5 minutes
- Recordings are deleted 7 days after the student’s plan ends and never kept longer than 90 days
- Passport details are stored encrypted and never sent to the AI; your staff see only the last 3 characters of the passport number
- The AI scores the audio of each answer. Eye contact is measured on the student’s own device, and the video is kept only for playback
What we will not say, to you or your students.
Hilingo will not promise a CAS, an offer, an interview result or a visa, and we ask your counsellors not to either. The university decides whether to issue a CAS, and the Home Office decides the visa. The University of Plymouth, for one, says passing its own interview does not guarantee that UKVI will accept a student if UKVI holds its own interview.
We publish no pass rate and no accuracy figure for our scoring. Green is the top of three bands from our AI scoring, not a pass. The questions are written by Hilingo, not taken from any university. Hilingo is not affiliated with UK Visas and Immigration, the Home Office or any university.

Who is it for?
Study-abroad agents, consultancies and coaching institutes whose students face interviews at UK universities. An agency uses the same Hilingo institute admin as a coaching institute, with UK CAS switched on.
Is it available outside India?
Not yet. Today UK CAS is available to institutes in India, on request. If your agency is in Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh or elsewhere, pick your country code in the demo form and we will tell you when it opens where you are.
How is it priced?
Per student, from your institute's prepaid wallet: a 7-day plan with 5 mock interviews or a 50-day plan with 20, at your plan's rate. We go through the rate on the demo, and you decide what to charge your students.
Can our counsellors watch the recordings?
Yes. Staff with UK CAS access can play back every practice and mock answer for the students and branches assigned to them, through links that expire after 5 minutes.
Can a trainer overrule the AI?
A trainer adds their own Green, Amber or Red band beside the AI band, with written advice for Amber and Red, and the student sees both. The trainer's band is advice and never blocks the student.
Which universities does it cover?
Students pick their university and campus from the UK government's register of licensed student sponsors. The 96 questions are written by Hilingo, not taken from any university.
What if a student made a mistake in their profile?
The profile locks when the student finishes it, so every answer uses the same facts. Your institute, or Hilingo support, can reopen it to correct a card, and any locked answer that uses the changed fact opens again.
What if a student leaves a mock part-way?
Leaving part-way ends the mock and uses the attempt. Staff with UK CAS write access can refund a mock the student left, once.
Do you promise students a CAS or a visa?
No, and your students should not hear that from anyone. Their university decides whether to issue a CAS, and the Home Office decides the visa. Hilingo's readiness, bands and mock results are practice, not a prediction of either.
